Summer Schools

IIIrd Summer School, Gallipoli, Italy

The third ARIS*ER summer school will be held in historic Gallipoli (Italy) from June 11th to June 15th in 2007. Gallipoli - the pearl of the Salento - is located by the Ionian sea, on the west coast of the Salentina peninsula providing a beautiful panoramic place.

The hosting partner (IFC-CNR) is pleased to organise this event at the Grand Hotel Costa Brada, standing on the sandy coastline and surrounded by a large pinewood. This four stars hotel has elegant rooms - each with balconies overlooking the sea and modern comfort - and a full range of facilities (swimming pool, jaccusi, sauna, fitness, massages, beauty center,...). Its location would permit to enjoy beautiful sunsets on the sea everyday.

Invited speakers from most prestigious clinical centres, hospitals and research institutes will participate to the scientific program with presentations of their most recent and advanced results of research. All ARIS*ER community will take the opportunity to show and discuss their last advances of their task related to the ARIS*ER project. Cutting-edge companies from all around the world will participate with live demos of their products, leading to further collaboration for R&D in the Minimally Invasive Therapies domain. Also in this edition, a best paper award will be granted to a young researchers based on paper contribution in the text book and on oral presentation.
