ARIS*ER In-depth workshop on Human-Computer interface

The "ARIS*ER In-depth workshop on Human-Computer interface" will be held at the Catharina Hospital in Eindhoven and the University of Technology Delft in the Netherlands. The Course case is Intra-operative radiation therapy (IORT).

Objectives

Goal of the course: To get hands on experience in different aspects of HCI for high tech surgery: focused observation and interviews, problem definition, finding UI and interaction solutions for the UI, and evaluating these; working with end users and in a design team; translating technical functions to human (cognitive) functions, understanding how humans behave in performing tasks and how technology triggers behavior.

Delft has many hotels and places to stay, here are some recommendations:

Travel

There are mainly three travel options for you. To make it easier for you, we'll try to coordinate and organize some of the necessary travels (collective=organized, individual = not organized):

A. Flight to and from Amsterdam, Schiphol.
B. Flight to and from Brussels, international Airport. On Tuesday 22.4. there is the possibility to attend the Dutch-Belgian-Haptic meeting at KU Leuven
C. Flight to and from Eindhoven.
