Marie Curie Action

IFC-CNR Lecce Section

The primary activity of IFC-CNR is in the field of Biomedical Imaging with the related applications, ranging from optimization of data acquisition (MRI pulse sequences, PET protocols, Ultrasound physics and systems and new contrast agents) to the post processing engineering application in order to enhance imaging information exploitability. All these technological research aspects are conducted and strongly connected to the clinical world through a integration and coordination system which involves all medical research and clinical partners of IFC-CNR LECCE SECTION. The team comprises the director of the Biomedical Engineering group, 2 Post-doctoral researcher, 5 PhD Students, 2 Masters in Engineering, 1 Administrative, 1 secretary, sponsored also by no profit Scientific Institute (ISBEM Consortium).
